Yeah, that makes sense, they must grow really fast in a year, some of them are massive
I heard somewhere they can double in size every few weeks if there’s enough food for them.

Squid sounds like a sustainable food source.
Great to eat and great as bait too.
Unfortunately some people are just born crooks. Well done fisheries. Hopefully they (and others) learnt the lesson.
Not worth losing/fined that much worth of money for a few fish/squid.
