Re: GPS marks
Sure is. You will see plenty of boats on the artificial reefs straight out from the river. Good luck. I am going to have a crack in the morning as well.

Re: GPS marks
Fished straight out from Carrum in 18 metres. Had 19.4 degrees water. Sounded around, found a few arches and dropped the pick. 6am my rod had a tickle and i picked it up thinking a flathead. Gave a few winds and got a decent bend in the rod and then it took off. 4 minutes later 71cm snapper. Not a bad start! 15 minutes later same thing but this time it was a flathead 49cm. No more snapper but 4 nice flathead all up. 2 banjos and 1 clean bite off from a shark WITH teeth. Back at muddy waters boat ramp (carrum) by 10am. Beat the hell out of working!!!! Snapper and big flathead took ever reliable pillie.
