cape woolami today fri.

Launched at rhyll about 730 I was told you could catch bait at the isolated danger mark just to the right of the rhyll red channel marker, so we stopped there burleyed up and all we could catch was leatherjackets.
We wasted an hour there before moving on to the cleeland bight fishing near the moored boats we picked up 1 squid and that was it.
Time to troll we dropped the lures in and did a couple of laps of the cape and around the pinicles nothing with small patches of bait but no big arches. By now its lunch time we decide to drift for one flathead a very slow day back at the ramp not much had been caught 1 guy had a dozen whiting but no real size to them.
A couple of beers at the rhyll angling club friday night get together hopefully tomorrow will be better.
