Cowes Beach

Post by pgoldsmith » Sat Jan 25, 2014 10:25 pm

Hi all,

I'm staying in Cowes for the weekend and am thinking of wetting a line tomorrow night, the piers the obvious spot but I'm wondering what the beach is like to the east of the pier, looks like a good rock mark a couple of minutes walk from the pier think it's called called Erehwon Point Beach. I've got surf gear and would rather fish a quiet beach at night than a busy pier.

Cheers

Go a bit further on and fish at vetnor beach
Angling is the name given to fishing by people that can't fish

hEY WAS THERE over new years and a that terehwon point there were heaps of boat docked bit further down and lot were fishing out of boats on the windy days. would presume for whiting/ squid,.
There were two dudes fishing off that point on land , but they were only catching toadies during the day.
Also check out red rocks and ventnor beaches.
To many boats kayak, helicopter , catch a fish, catch a fish
