kilcunda
Got a call last night from a mate last night come to phillip island fish mon and Tuesday. A good offer I thought drove down this morning we launched at rhyll about 730 we decided to bottom bash off kilcunda on the way we trolled along the eastern side past the punch bowl there was a guy fishing off the rocks we were hoping for some salmon or snook fresh bait for no luck.Being on my mates boat I had left most of my gear at home on my boat.
We drifted in about 34mt of water it was slow at first but got better we ended up with 24 flathead and we kept 3 gurnard for soup. It was as smooth as a babies bum today all day supposed to be the same tomorrow till early afternoon so we will only fish to lunch I have to drive home tomorrow work Wednesday.

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
