Be good if Balcklab99 could give an update on his boat build
viewtopic.php?f=70&t=20630&hilit=blackl ... 90#p282592

Yes, Glossy, it would be nice, a very interesting thread. I have been following (retrospectively that is) the Boat Build and was wondering about how the finish is going.

But blacklad99's last post was a bit concerning and hopefully he is all good

Hey Big Gav, have I got the right bloke, the one who got a great bag of carp years ago at the first big carp meet on the old Coburg Lake ?
I was fishing beside you and you brained us with sweet corn.
Jim and Davo along with Boonie and son are others I remember from that day. Also the lady that used to sell tackle.
Blue

Talking about Legends, how fitting our Forum Stalwart Blue with his "wiggle fish" profile fish has posted here.

Blue, you always bring a smile to my face when I see and read your posts , , , , one of the Gentlemen of Fishing

To find a fish
You do the miles.
Catch the fish
and earn the smiles.

Born2fish, BarraMick, Aprilfool

There’s been some great contributors come and go and come again.

One I miss is MissShimano

She embodied everything of the modern angler expertise on a wide range of species, unbiased opinions on products, boats and fishing tackle and an unbridled ability to show off her fishing expertise.

Who can forget that barcrushers are the best boat, the whiting challenge or when she was asking about gummy sharks and I suggested she learn about the species which did not go down well at all. Most of all I miss her ability to name drop Shimano on every topic.

Where is she now? Who knows maybe with Phil on team born2fish

Edit: I still don’t like fishing apparel with brand logos
you must really miss her then!!
she is not with phil, she has her own boat and seems to be doing well according to her social media posts.
