Yeah luderick love a cheeky cabbage weed.
Rocks walls / submerged rocks, anywhere you'd find mussels you'll get it.

I reckon either actual lettuce or asian greens would work as a substitute?
Yeah interesting . Id be interested to see if people catch them on alternatives. I know the fly fisherman sometimes tie flies to resemble weed. But i think its ribbon weed imitation, not cabbage weed.

Yeah that's a solid point about fly fishermen using cabbage weed flys!

Hear me out, but thoughts on Zman Crawz + greens? https://www.tackletactics.com.au/collec ... urbo-crawz
I'm certain they'd hit a lure fluttering down? https://fishingworld.com.au/how-to/how- ... -on-lures/

Luderick fishing was where it all began for me, which was when I was a teen living up at the Entrance In NSW...I remember the long stringy slimy mossy weed was preferred over the cabbage stuff...I've seen ppl catching either Luderick or another similar species at the end of the Sandringham breakwall (almost at the very end on the Inside),plenty of rocks for the weed to grow there
