does anyone know if people catch any eels out of mordialloc creek? i been trying to find a place to catch some for when i go gummy fishing.

Never fished the Mordy creek m'self but just looking at it I'd be amazed if there's not Ee;ls in there somewhere.
Definitely worth a try I reckon.

guess i will have to bait up with some worms and chicken livers one night and see if i can catch any. they just want wayyyy to much money for them in the bait shops. like 8 dollars for one.

Good bit of fatty red meat always works well also.
Generally blood + smell = eels.

ok thanks bill will give it a try and see if i can catch a few. i know they are great gummy bait but the snapper also like them. i caught my first big snapper from Port Philip bay using eel for bait. so i know they are great bait and they last really well when sea lice are out because the meat and skin is really tough.

Where iare the top spots for catching eels , love them smoked small ones are the best

My favourite bait for eel is Bacon!! works every time in the Yarra and creeks.
