Hey fishos, just looking at setting up a bait trap for some mullet, just wondering if anyone has used these sorta traps for fish or are they just a prawn style trap?

Caught galaxias and yabbies with that, never tried for mullet. Suppose you can. Or keep as 'live well' and send a distress signal to the big fish to come.

Ah yea fair point, get the small models in there and throw a line around it for the bigger ones. Might give that a crack. Cheers mate

you can catch small mullet in them bait traps need to be tagged as far as i know
