I normally fillet them cut the rib cage out then depending on the size of the fillet whole or halved and sometimes I use the head with a big circle through the mouth

That's what we do with fresh slimeys! Never used the head.. Something to try for next time ;)

Slimeys are a fantastic strip bait and are not bad on toast either
