Landbased Melbourne
Spent few hrs with my bro last night landbased again. Using garfish and salmon fillets for bait we landed 18 pinkies total ranging from 32cm - 42cm, left them biting again as we had ran out of bait. Lost several good fish to frayed leader from hooking alot of fish, great fun as we only used 1 rod each and just held the rod and feel the bite pretty much 1 minute after each cast. Rod of choice is a 12 ft surf outfit, paternoster rig with 4/0 octopuse hooks.
Goodluck everyone :water:
