Docklands 5th August 2018
Just before i went away i was doing a job not far from the city. I haven't fished docklands in years so i thought i'd give it a crack on a few nights after work.
Using plastics and 1/12th to 1/16th jig heads with 6lb leader i worked around the pylons and boats having a ball catching pinkies on 2-4kg gear. A couple nights i ended up with close to 15 pinkies to around 2kg. Most fish caught just on or after dark.
Now i scratched that itch ill be concentrating on the trout in the coming weeks..
Cheers, Anth

Re: Docklands 5th August 2018
I’m planning to fish docklands on Sunday morning. I’ve never fished there before.
Hopefully I get a similar result.
Is there a place to park early in the morning (about 6:30 AM) for free very close to the water where it would be worth start flicking some plastics? I’m more of a bait fisho, what do you think would give me the best chance of catching something?
Thanks in advance.

There's some free parking along collins st towards the library early/late on Sundays. For bait, I like to go unweighted and drop pilly slices down next to the pylons. Or bread for bream, but that's cheating
