Any gars around Seaford pier?

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has hit Seaford pier recently and if any garfish around there? The kid has been asking for fishing for a long time and I feel the garfish might be great for him to have a bit of fun. I haven't been there for a while so not sure what's going around there. I know long time ago there was a project at the end of the pier, is that completed and open now?

Thanks for your information.

Cheers.

Pier was open few weeks ago when I was there for a walk.
Gars can be caught there I've had success at night.
Mornington is fishing well for them but very busy

I reckon there would be a few when the water is clear, any murkiness and they often go a little slow.
Plenty of burley and you never know, may pull a few tommies and salmon in the mix.

St Leonards Pier has been a little hit or miss this week, they've been dredging sand out from the pier which is kicking up quite a bit of sediment. Makes for either clouds of sand or all round murky conditions, haven't heard about any gars this week. Squid were hit/miss, managed a few (will put a post up this weekend).
