I somewhat agree with you BUT, why are the greens hell bent on having more marine parks and locking up more and more bush.

Re: Reef island
Guys I was fishing with my cousin and as I said earlier if I had of kept all the ones I caught I would of well and truly exceeded my bag limit for the last 2 hours we released upwards of 20 30-42cm whiting, I drive 2 hours to go for a fish in the bay so when I go I make sure I come home with a feed. Cheers for all the compliments guys, I am by no means a greenie and do not support there actions at all but I respect all of your opinions but at the end of the day I was within my limit and it was my choice to keep a feed if that upsets anyone go to a local bunnings and buy some materials to build a bridge to get over it! good luck with all your fishing, I'll hopefully have more reports in coming weeks.

Re: Reef island
Well said rohan couldnt agree more. We all love fishing and thats why we r on this forum in the 1st place. Sure some love catch and release, some fish for a feed and some fish for both. You are well within your bag and as already stated once those fish are cleaned there really isnt much to go around, its not like your freezer will be full for months. We all have doughnut days and unfortunately catches like that take time knowledge and dedication so good on you, hope you enjoy the feed and looking forward to ur next report
