Caught 4 tonight in Williamstown on chicken in oyster sauce. All released.

I'm guessing southern cardinal fish.

Gobbleguts. A member of the cardinal family.

Theres a lot of these under jetties, especially under Mornington pier

Oh caught this on the same night. Some kind of eel?

It's a type of marine eel. I think they are called serpent eels or short finned eels
PB- Snapper 55cm, Whiting 38cm, Flathead 55cm, Bream 38cm, Australian Salmon 55cm, Carp 80cm

Lol I think I caught them first from the spot in willy u told us about only if they were bigger lol when they were going for the bait they get the bells going off every time I thought I had something big. Well I did it was a big disapointment lol
