I was thinking about heading in that direction too. That or a trout Lake somewhere

Did you get out there? We spent a couple of hours on the beach chucking lures, saw one small one caught by someone else. Lost 2 slugs. Then we went over to Portarlington where there was half a dozen or so Greek blokes catching small salmon fairly regularly, I hooked one but dropped it. Lost another slug. Nice day for it despite the lack of fish. Need more practice casting because I kept breaking my line any time I went to put a bit more effort into it. Camera had a flat battery so no pictures unfortunately.

No I didn't get out today actually. Only managed to get an hour at karkarook this morning.

Nothing at gunna saturday night, saw lots of people there sunday morning but looked to chopped up to spin so headed to flinders pier for some squid

I used to go to that lake for rainbow trouts all the time about 4-5 years ago. Have been meaning to go there but just haven't gotten around to it!

Nah just practice casting the fly rod
