Salmon from the sand

Went for surf fish yesterday arvo rising tide on sunset, first hour produced two fish caught on bait.
About an hour of light left and things were a little slow so thought I would throw a slug out, it was almost fish a cast for the next forty Min till dark.
Ended up getting 17 largest 2 kg+ but there are only 15 in the photo as I gave two to some fellow fishers at the beach.

what a haul with the lures, nice job. I went out Monday morning for pinkies but couldn't catch anything but cold!! LOL

Thanx guys I mainly bait fish so to do so well on lure was awesome, all fish taken on lure were caught within 20 Meters from the beach.
One was actually caught in the wave breaking on shore very close in.
