Wilsons Prom Fishing

Hi all, next week ill be taking some students on school camp to wilsons prom. Just wanted to know the best land spots around there, the best times to go and what type of fish you can catch.

Not tongue point lol..
At a guess, Tidal River would be the go to, but Doug would be a better judge than I.

With kids and all, tidal river is the go.
Use small bait and small hook. There's mullet and bream there. Use burley and maybe bait under float.

Agree with that, small pieces of chicken or bread under a float. You could try soft plastics too if they know what they're doing.
You might have luck near the bridge if kids aren't jumping off it. Otherwise anywhere along the river bank really.
Watch for snakes around the scrub near the river, we bumped into a copperhead on the way to the boardwalk from the tidal river caravan park.

If the kids are high school aged (or near it) you could try spinning for salmon & tailor with a metal slug on squeaky beach. Had a good day there earlier in the year.
