Hi Joe,
Welcome to the forum.

I'm in Mornington and fish anytime I can. I just got back from Mt Martha chaseing squid.

What fish are you keen on catching? At the moment it is worth chasing squid, king george whiting, slamon and gars in PPB or a little bit further to WP and you can get some large Elephant shark or a gummy, if you are keen on a night fish.

Cheers,

Ok, I might be heading to Balnarring tomorrow night for the high tide to temp a gummy. You're welcome to tag along or meet me there if you like. I usually use surf gear to fish the beach.
So the next question is what gear do you have? Anything suitable for the target species(plus the pita that we get there).

Catching gummy at Warneet pier with the tide ripping through there, would make life a little interesting.

Hi Joe,

what type of fish do you want to target?

I live near Brighton and have a few good spots.

Cheers

Welcome Joe. I am in the NE suburbs and usually get out to Mornington Peninsular piers or rocks/surf beaches depending on the tides and wind. I will be pleased to take you with me on a trip in about a fortnight. PM me. Only thing is I never catch anything although every one I go with seems to catch something. :) Good luck.

I understand the lake in Albert park has some, and the Caribbean lakes.
