Hi all,
Just had a few reads of the site and thought “ripper, gotta join up!”. So, I escaped the big smoke four years ago to try a sea change at Barwon Heads. Gone from trout fishing with flies and whippy wands to 30lb braid and still getting busted off. Steep learning curve but I’m having a ball learning about boats (got an old 530c Barcrusher), tides, wind moons, jigs, soft plastics and on it goes!
Slightly obsessed with catching big red, caught lots of spiky bighty gummy things and lots of pinkie things but not big red!
Hope to grace your page with some good reports soon.
Cheers Gra

Welcome. It's a good time to fish for bug red. People are catching at the moment.
