It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Re: Hello Every one
Hi All,
I joined this site a few days ago. Currently on holidays at Apollo Bay. I returned to fishing after a 13 year break when I last fished regularly on King Island. Seems like I'm having to relearn a lot of stuff about fishing as well as upgrading or replacing my equipment. I'm far from the luckiest fisho around but I learn things every time I go out. I've been following the thread on Gars off St Leonards Pier and will give them a try when I get back to Geelong. Cheers. Dave

It's great to see you've reignited your passion for fishing and have decided to chase the winter delicacy of the garfish!
I'm down St Leonards pier every couple of days chasing the gars and am happy answering any question you might have!
Goodluck and tight lines!
