Hi everyone, finally leaving the shadows into the newbie lite

Hi everyone

Finally plucked up the courage today to post for the first time.

I'm Patty and enjoy fishing from the land. I've been a stalker on the gippsland forums over a number of years and done a few fishing trips to the wonderful lakes.

Just want to thank everyone for their tips over the years. Particularly the regular posters in the gippsland forums. Love this site and may it long continue.

Despite living in the western suburbs of melbourne, i have never fished in melbourne........so i will never knock back any advice on good spots to fish.

Keep up the tight lines.

Unfortunately Patty the western side of ppb has limited lb opportunities. Apart from the rock wall at Wyndham harbour, there is really nothing lb between Altona and Geelong.
If you drive try St Helen's & Geelong trailable yacth club at Corio(?)

Would of suggested Wyndham rock wall but apparently it’s been shut. Caught some excellent snapper and flathead there.

After so much time shadowing in the forum, I intend to post more often, depending on whether I actually can get out to fish!
