Australian Salmon On Surface Poppers

Gday Guys.
Finally finished editing this video that was filmed late last year. we were out chasing the snapper and got sidetracked with this ripper of a session that lasted almost 5 hours of non stop top water action.
we landed in excess of 40 fish, all on Surface Poppers, something i havnt done before in PPB.
Lets hope this is a continuing trend Targeting Australian salmon In Port Phillip Bay!!

yeah that day was really lucky, the school was around for a good 5 odd hours and most fish in the 50cm plus range, they look small in the video, but i can guarantee you they weren't

Cheers man, yes great fun when they are all those XOS sizes.
this is the first video ive done with new Gopros and also a new editing software and its been a massive learning curve, so some glitches are imminent like the aspect ratio of the video loll
ive been guilty of the loud background music myself before. always learning some new things.

Those sized salmon certainly provide a lot fun..
I hope that more people can get into them using surface poppers, its such an exciting way to fish for them.
Ive got footage of them chasing after the poppers but its too far away and not properly visible enough to include it in the video.

I also found that the lures with single hooks ( 1/0 gamas) got half the hookups than ones with std trebles. The fish kept missing them consistently, But on the other side we're a lot easier to remove and get back into the action.
