Dazza yeah mate the emeraldas was bent over nicely being a squid rod its nice and whippy compared to what i have otherwise so certainly helped cushion those runs.. not only that but also send those 10gm slugs a mile and a half.
The fish looks small in the video. But i just had a look at it in the freezer and its a pretty decent fish and so are the others easily standing tall around 45 to 47cms plus..
The emeraldas reel.also.handled the salmon well. The drag is nice and smooth big thumbs up....
