Report

Very small bay trout size fish around, lots of whitewash and breakers, lots of sand in the water.

Some of the bait guys were doing ok, baits nice and Deap away from the chaos on top

Biggest fish in any bucket, an I inspected most (with permission) would have been lucky to be a kilo

Headed to the bay at around 4.30 and go my PB squid of 28cm hood, apparently there had been salmon around on and off during the day at around 1-1.5kg

Hopefully the big ones are moving back into the bay. I love fishing gunna but as salmon is my primary bait it's much nicer when I can drive 5mins instead of an hour to get it

I'd love to have another go, and hopefully get my hands on the elusive salmon

Friday is looking good. I might take a day off work if the weather forecast will not change by Wednesday.

Thursday might be better to get a bit more tide action, I am up for either maybe, if work doesn't get in the way. Friday lends itself to a gummy bait session after dark also
