Lake Bellfield Halls Gap

Hi all,
Will be going to the grampians for christmas and will be camping out at Halls Gap tourist park, its next to Bellfield lake. Never fished there before, probably will be landbased unless mates bring a kayak or a boat. Any idea on what I can catch there, and how to catch them? I will be sticking to lures mainly.

They stock trout there and pretty sure there's redfin. There is $ tagged fish there too.
If you baitfish, use powerbait for trout. Worms on a running sinker works for trout and redfin.
Lake Fyans has a lot of reddies and not too far from there.

With lures, use spoon or tassie devil.
Rooster tail and mepps are good too. But spoon and tassie devil are heavy, and able to cover more areas.

I had a great session on the far side rocky wall a couple of years ago with a school of reddies. They were in close to the shore. It Is a bit tricky to get to as the shore line has loose gravel (yes I did end up in the drink). Def fish in there though. Worms as usual but did get a few on the old hog back.
