Bloody big wake up call, can’t even imagine what would have happened if it caught a rock at speed...hopefully the anchor winch would have ripped off before it cartwheeled. Anyone know if you can get idiot lights for people like me?

I did that once, but was on a kayak. I was like, I'm paddling hard but why I'm not moving.

If it makes you feel any better I have done this recently also. And to challenge any wolly of the week awards. I have also dropped my boat in twice in the last 3 months with no bungs, meaning as I realized when about to back out, I had to go swimming and put them in.

I also have lost 2 burley buckets driving off with them in the water in last month.

I hope I have learned my lesson now. I hope.....

Those burley cages aren’t cheap either... I’m also guilty of doing it a few times myself!

Not alone there I forgot the bung last time I went out also.
Was able to drive backwards onto the sand and jump out and quickly put them in.

Lol haven't done that one before, but I reckon I take off more times with the burley pot still in the water than the times I actually pull it in
