Boat lighting

Hey, first time poster here. I've been looking for a good fishing community on the internet for some time now, so hopefully this is the place!

So I recently just purchased my very first boat, a 485 Savage bay cruiser. I had it fitted at the shop with a hook 7x sounder, electric winch, bimini with stainless rocket launchers, camp cover, custom stainless rod holders and baitboard as well as a marine uhf which will get me by to start with.

But due to being someone who loves fishing at night, one of the first little DIYs I will need to do is lighting this baby up like a Xmas tree. What type of lighting would be best for a boat this size? My obvious need is deck lighting, so I was thinking either an LED bar light or 2x spreading floodlights on the top of the rocket launchers shining down on the deck. A cabin lamp for under the bimini as well as strip lighting in and under the gunwales perhaps.

A rotational LED Nav spot light for the bow and underwater bait lights would be luxurious although not really required. Plus I don't feel real confident cutting into a brand new hull lol.

I'm just wondering if anyone can give me any tips/advice on my thoughts? Has anyone got any feed back on the spreader flood lights as opposed to the bar lights? If anyone has some pics of what they have done themselves that would be really interesting to see. Also, any idea where to find great deals on lighting? Ebay LED's are extremely cheap, and although I don't have experience with their marine lights, I know the chinese 4wd light bars are pretty reliable for their price.

Hi I have 2 deck lights attached to my rocket launcher to light up the inside of my boat I only use them when cleaning up or landing a big fish at night. At the front of my boat I have a light bar with 6 led's in 2 fwd 2 30 degrees right 2 left. Its ok when going slow but not the best when travelling at speed in the dark lights up channel markers ok.
My mate has underwater lights at his transom they definitely attract fish. I have replaced all internal lights inside my boat to led globes cheap as chips on ebay. Subdued background lighting when fishing at night.

Holy crap, expensive don't you think mate?

You can get led flood lights on eBay for less a 1/10th of the price than the ones you posted, with more watts and lumens. The lifetime quality of them would probably wouldn't be be comparable, but at that price you can afford to replace them every year or 2.

As for the gunnals, I'll probably just put cheap led light strips under them.

The quality wouldn't be anywhere near what you posted, but they will be bright and at $20 for 2, can't go wrong.

Theoretical lumens, and they're 30w. They could be great, or they're underwhelming. It's the great unknown. And wiring them through launchers is a giant pita let alone doing it every year or two. Or they last the journey and you save plenty.

I can easily tie knots in 6lb line in my shadow at the bait board with 2 of the 12w supervisions. Plenty of others run the same lights and there's been no issues that I know of. They may be pricey, but they're known quality.

They look nice, and Narva is known quality. I already purchased the others but they were only $20 so maybe I'll just cut my losses and grab these as well.
