Northbank & Haines Hunter

Post by Robbie1950 » Sun May 10, 2020 8:27 am

A Northbank 600c and Haines 595 offshore by the eye seem to have exactly the same hull. Am I right in saying this? Is there a back story to the similarity?

No. Most deep v monohulls are slight changes on the original Raymond Hunt design from way back when, and that's where similarity comes from. The Northbank has a rounded rear end similar to the Aronow designed 233 formula where the Haines does not. The Haines has more bow flare than the Northbank. That's just 2 obvious differences.
