Boat Weather cover

Post by A-a-ron » Thu May 14, 2020 10:40 pm

Hey everyone, just wondering what boat weather covers everyone’s found to be decent. Seen a few with bad reviews and some without reviews. Looking to fit a 5.4m half cabin boat. Cheers and tight lines again finally! :wt: :wt:

The ones from Supercheap Auto are a bit cheaper than Nude Up's. They are around $100 - $130. They are waterproof and do a good job so long as you can keep them taught so the rain runs off before it can form a puddle. They are pretty light though and i find i need to buy a new one every 2 years or so. So you might want to look at something more expensive.

Ive also tried the ones they sometimes have at Aldi which are a bit cheaper again (i forger how much), they are made out of a heavier material but they are not waterproof, so they are only really good for covering boats that are out of the weather.

I picked up one up from Aldi in the clearance bin for <$30 and came complete with clips and a bag and has been absolutely sensational. Boat is an 80' Savage Tasman 4.6m and sits out in the weather and it's been great for money.

Thanks for the replies. Guess should go and spend I bit of coin to get a decent one just for piece or of mind.
