Social distancing on a boat
I understand that under all circumstances you need to remain 1.5mts form other people unless you live with them, that you can now have up to 5 people in your home and socialise with up to 10 people outdoors.
So how does this work with taking people out on a boat? Is it based on available open deck space?

Re: Social distancing on a boat
I think with 5 people inside/10 people outside you're still advised to maintain social distancing. I assume a boat would be no different.

So you could have 10 people on a 6 mt pontoon?
Just want to know if I'm going to cop a fine if I take 3 mates out on a 5mt boat.

Sounds like its just not practical taking anyone other than a family member out on a boat...sharing equipment, bumping into each other, etc.

yeah just take the kids or something man, mates can wait till the restrictions are eased a fair bit more or just take them all out individually over a period of time.
