Social distancing on a boat

Just got back from morning yak. Few out there, nice and calm sunny day.
Most boats I saw got only two people on board. To be safe as well I guess.

I understand that under all circumstances you need to remain 1.5mts form other people unless you live with them

So how does this work with taking people out on a boat?

We all deep down know that "Social Distancing" on a Boat , , , , doesn't work (notwithstanding taking family members that you live with).

Sounds like its just not practical taking anyone other than a family member out on a boat...sharing equipment, bumping into each other, etc.

Most boats I saw got only two people on board. To be safe as well I guess.

At least by only having two on a Boat, it shows that they are trying to do the right thing
