Maybe plug the bung fill with saltaway solution take it for a drive around the block to initiate some sort of agitation and leave for a while or overnight and give it a good rinse?

No not every 2 years about every 2/3 months.
I fish about 4 times a week so i carry out cleaning and maint task more than others.
Ive got an open transom area so after each fish I wash boat then get a large sponge and grab all water from the rear to stop corrosion and the stink

This should also be done as part of routine maintenance so that any lost sinkers, hooks etc can be removed before they start rusting and corrosion starts on the hull.

Well pulled up the floor last weekend and ended up a big job after having to remove all the floation under at least 50 pieces of various sizes
Gave it good pressure wash and vacuum
Just about to start replacing everything and am wondering if it is a good idea to spray the bottom along the centre where water may remain?
