Seeking advice on 2nd hand boat

I no a bloke about to sell a 5.2m boat its either a crescutter or something similar. Has a tidy 90hp Yamaha around 2007 from memory. Has elec anchor pretty sure his going to ask around 13k. Pretty tidy for the price

in my opinion, If this is your first time boating, i suggest go for aluminium. Quintrex 420 getaway (something like this)is something you should look at. Easy to launch and retrieve and quite stable on the water. Get one with yamaha 40 at the back. Normally smaller boat has lesser hour life, cleaner as they are used sparingly and easy to clean. Stay clear of fibreglass especially 20+ year old ones unless you know what you are doing and know what to inspect. Transom, floor rots are quite common and they are hard to see. A 420 getaway or similar will set you back 9-12k.
