Boat Advice

HI, Im looking to purchase my first boat, I want something that can handle bays and perhaps the odd day just offshore in calm conditions. 2 boats I am looking at are a 2005 Haines Signature 460DF and a 1986 Swiftcraft Seagull that has been upgraded. Does anyone have any idea if these are good boats or not?
