Suggestions for minor fiberglass hull repair

Post by HerbMac » Tue Apr 18, 2023 6:25 pm

Hi The fiberglass hull centerline has a chip taken out by the anchor not being completely wound in :o_0: .
The chip is roughly 1 cm square. Research on google says " epoxy fairing compound is best for repairs below the waterline because epoxy is 100% waterproof when cured, unlike polyester and vinyl ester resins."
I wish to do the repair myself but I'm having difficulty finding a suitable product. Would appreciate suggestions on product to use and where to buy, THANKS in advance.

Sounds like you only need gelcoat repair.

I have used septone before with great success.
