Theres more to it than just the conga line..
I'm sure he will come back when he is ready..
Few things going on in the background. So just need to watch what's being said sometimes, as words can do a bit of damage to some and not so much the others..

That’s the harsh reality of life unfortunately. We have all been guilty of saying a bit much or being on the receiving end from time to time. Hopefully Jim returns when he’s ready he definitely expressed his misgivings regarding the Conga

Thanks for the warning mate.
Had no idea these other things were going on in the background.
Cheers.

Don't want to bring the vibe down, but ...these forums are a magnet for people trying to chase off the black dog.

Jim
Sometimes these forums unfortunately enhance the black dog as well

Steve, you have got my utmost respect. You are right on the money. The development and growth you have shown is very admirable and commendable  . Jim & others and I have been advocates of watching what anyone says, and glad to see that other members feel the same and are outspoken on this matter too (yes, you too Anth , , , , I see you there :-D ).

He wasn't happy about the Conga #freebugatti campaign

That's right I remember.
He got annoyed with the congo and the speculations on why the bug was away

Jim, from what I have seen, wasn't "upset" with the Conga thread (as his quotes below attest to)

The thread purpose was good...and thanks to S Reels, had a good outcome. Now this thread is dribble!

It was more of what the thread had runaway into, yes granted, over exuberant rambunctiousness but away from it's intended purpose.

I see a giant padlock coming.

Let's get Jim back , , , , by not getting this thread locked.

Let's show Jim that collectively we can "Adult" well. Let's show Jim that it is an environment that he wants to come back too.

Regards Bill (who thought of leaving a few times too :( )

Hi Jas

The Conga Line originally was a thread I started to get members involved.

When recently, I had an untimely break from the Forum, the forum members had used that thread to "get me back" (not that they knew I hadn't really gone anywhere).

So, I dare say, it is a symbolic thread of getting members involved

Cheers, Bug

Guilty as charged mate.. guilty as charged..

But when the receiving doesnt end on the respective threads and takes on a new form in the guise of cleverly worded Private messages (yes a few not just one) . And i use cleverly in most loosest of terms . Then it certainly is a big worry.
People Might look all hunky dory on the outside, and say and do all the right things, but not so much when they show their true colours via PM..

But let me just say this..
Never ever confuse banter with intentional words meant to harm.. it never ends well.. you need to know when to draw the line. And that might be different to different individuals..
Let this be a lesson to all, not just those involved...
