Ive got two now :-D

i first bought a Scott Aspect 740 , a mountain bike coz i bought it to start trail riding. I was too scared to ride in the city intially.

But then, i started commuting to work everyday on it and i got super comfy with city riding.

Now i bought a Scott Metrix 30 EQ

I love both of my bikes so much :-D
The bikes and the Hobie are two things that give me pure joy.
Down hill mountain biking looks cool af, just peddling up the hills would be torture lol
Just get an e- mountain bike 👍🏻
I’ve got a motorised mountain bike

It’s called a motorbike

That’s what us lazy pricks use lol
I was never allowed on one of those things when i was a kid.
My dad wrecked one and then my mom banned the word from the household.
:rf:
Lol, well if you’re not worried about disappointing your mother anymore you should definitely give it a go sometime. Thrilling hobby, great exercise, and get to enjoy some stunning scenery that is very difficult to access otherwise.

A little dangerous, but can still take a very cautious approach to it and lot of people do.

Now I want to go riding

Picked up a new Trek fuel Ex 9.8 a couple of weeks ago and really want to hit some trails but not being able to travel further than 5 kms... can’t wait to go for some proper rides!

I have a Hasa 29er. Ride it inbetween running and swimming. Mostly stick to bike trails and back roads. We have plenty around here. Heading out for a bush ride Saturday.

I had also cross-city for riding to the beach and short trips, I found it secondhand a while back for $500 with a decent alloy frame, sturdy Mavic aksiums, and Shimano 105 10-speed group.
I wanted a cyclocross bike but there's not much around secondhand (especially in XL sizes)
It had mini v brakes which were stuffed and needed replacing anyway, and when I became interested in a cyclocross bike I figured why not .. it has slack road geometry and compact cranks, so it might just work.

On went, some Tektro cantilever brakes, Hutchinson toro 32mm cyclocross tires, some FSA omega bars a friend gave me (I’m not a fan of atomic bars but they’ll do for now) and some 105 5700 shifters I repaired.
