The Europeans LOVE em, "The Barbounie". They are a sweet whitish flesh but soft so don't over-handle them when cleaning them.

And fresh , , , , freeze them and they soften up even more

AND great squid bait on a Squid Prong Jig

See the bass on the top doesn't have an indentation on its head and it's top jaw is over it's bottom jaw. The EP's have an indentation and it's lower jaw extends further than it's top jaw.

When they are smaller they are really hard to tell apart. At any size what i find a dead give away is usually bass have broader shoulders than an EP
