I posted something last night and it’s gone, someone has definitely been deleting stuff

The last person to delete a comment was me. And it wasn’t yours.

Well a bunch of posts that was there last night is not there today, and when I went to the last unread post of a couple of threads it took me to a couple of days ago. If people aren’t deleting posts then maybe it’s to do with the upgrade or whatever it is admin is doing

It looks like the forum has reset to a previous backup and all or most of yesterday’s posts are gone. No idea until Jon has a look and let’s us know what has happened.

Yeah quite a fair bit if stuff has gone missing.
Probably a good thing tbh.. don't think we are missing too much.

Disappearing conversation what happened to sour to the point a large part of the thread is missing. It was a reasonable civil chat up until I went to sleep last night.

Hi guys,

There has been an intermittent issue with the host over the last few days.

It has absolutely nothing to do with myself or the Mods deleting any posts.

The events have been Unscheduled and are usually resolved within a few hours.

As for the Google ads, I am experimenting with this as the site wil not be running without a source of revenue..

Basically no ads = no site at this stage.

Yeah, and some full screen ones too.

PS, I have just removed the Mobile full-screen ads that appear between page loads.

They were annoying me too!
