One of those ambiguous fish from the UK

Sorry Croe, I missed your answer, it is chub. Those photos are from Plitvice Lakes in Croatia, the water was so clear it looked like they were levitating. Apparently there was brown trout in there, but I couldn’t spot any. Those Chub were in big numbers though

I remember as a kid We used to have similar fish back in India that would flow down during monsoon when the creeks and ponds flooded.
I didnt know what they were but looked very similar to this. Plus the many other barb and killifish type species .
Was fun times..
