Re: Any group pushing for a return to fishing
I am glad to see that some progress is being made supporting fishing and hunting being allowed while maintaining all social distancing rules and gathering numbers are observed.
I am not surprised that it has taken an East Gippsland MP’s support to change these restrictions, many of these communities are built upon their fishing and aquaculture industries which are still recovering from the previous seasons bushfires.
I’d wait for an official statement from the Vic Government before jumping in the kayak though. Mixed messages this point.

Re: Any group pushing for a return to fishing
All good points mate, but so far nothing has changed regarding fishing or hunting. The people that can make the changes are the weirdo type that aren't even aware of fishing or hunting....they read books by Malcom Turdball for relaxation.
Re: Any group pushing for a return to fishing
I sit here at my computer looking out the window as another great autumn day goes by and Dictator Dan's unreasonable fishing ban continues. I had a look at the Merimbula bar cam and could see people fishing off the bank there, keeping the required social distance, seems like we in Victoria are not trusted.
