Good luck. Check the rod's casting weight rating and use heavy lure in that casting weight range. And maybe full brake to start with, or just under full.
Plenty of YouTube videos nowadays. Best is to get one on one tutor in person.

I got the CA80, very smooth and doesn't feel "plasticy" with 9+1 ball bearings. But they're not CRBB, careful around saltwater.
