Re: Cars
If it's got under 50k km and still has over 12 months factory warranty you can't go wrong if the price is right and the car checks out. Tow bar and side steps or any other accessories you can add on when you want so don't let that deter you.
If buying private make sure you check it's not stolen, written off or has a debt against it. Not sure how good you are with cars but major accidents can be picked up by going over the body and checking the under carriage. A few stone chips here and there on a 1 year old car is a good indication that no major accidents have happened.

Re: Cars
I did the research rounds on a ute a couple years ago...
I went with a MQ Triton at the time because that’s all my budget could afford (I wanted a near top range model rather than just the workman’s budget model).
However, I thought the Colorado LTZ was the best of the pool. Had I had an extra 10-15k in my budget I’d have definitely purchased one of them, but the Triton for me was better value for the dollar.
Hilux are $$, purely my opinion but your spending the extra for the badge. The D-Max wasn’t as good as its previous model, which at the time when it was released was absolutely gold value for what it was. Bullet proof vehicle. All our electricians fleet vehicles at work are Rangers and over half of them did their gear box around the 75,000-90,000 mark, which is out of warranty grounds apparently. Put it down to workers smashing company cars, or put it down to a faulty product, either way it scared me off... but they do go hard and look good.
BT50 from all reports are a great car, just ugly, which steers most people off them... the Stabi of the ute world, if you will. Amarok... meh, again money for the badge.
In saying all this, most manufacturers have released a whole new model since I last did my research, so if you’re planning to buy the latest model, which it seems you are, then just ignore everything I’ve said lol.

Re: Cars
I bought a MUX 2 years ago and tow a 2 tonne boat no problems. If you do go Isuzu and are yet to get the tow bar then I will advise you not to go the isuzu bar as it has bad wraps on the net. Plus the hayman reese tow bar i got was cheaper anyway. The only negative i see with the car is the climate control, you almost need to take your eyes off the road to work it but other than this its is a great car and with 7 years warranty how can you go wrong.

Re: Cars
The 7 year warranty is hard to beat I recon.
Isuzu mux was rebadged as the rodeo for a while I think in the earlier models.
But I recon shop hard due to EOFY sales. Let them work for your money!!
Dont discount the Korean brands as well. These days tgey make some awesome vehicles.
Santa fe , tucson and sorrento are all worth a look imo.

Re: Cars
go for a drive in one and atleast see what they are like, dont just discount it cause its a hyundai or kia, Both are actually Great Cars and have now engineers from Audi working for them, hence the updated face lifts etc in recent years.bowl wrote: ↑Sat Jun 27, 2020 5:34 pmMate had santa Fe was a nice car ,but I can't never picture myself buying a Kia or hyundaipurple5ive wrote: ↑Sat Jun 27, 2020 4:11 pmThe 7 year warranty is hard to beat I recon.

I understand people are a bit edgy and Wont buy Made in China etc, but most cars are now manufactured in Asia These days.
