Ute start at cheaper price for a diesel.
..
Practicality wise 7 seater is the go, we travel to Echuca few times a year and need to take 2 cars..
I'd love a ford Everest, but f spending that much on car lol
Bought the wife a 2017 Toyota Kluger GXL (2wd) and it's handy with the 7 seater even though we don't use it all that often. Good value now with it a few years old and a new model being released next year.
Also to add, I've got a 2019 (Series 3) Navara ST as a work ute and it's good value for the money. There's now 4 iterations of the D23 Navara's and the later Series 3 and 4's are packed with features. Pricing is about $40k

Dont discount the Korean brands as well. These days tgey make some awesome vehicles.
Santa fe , tucson and sorrento are all worth a look imo.
Pretty sure i read the other day that Hyundai will be bringing a ute to the market next year.
I ended up going with the Ford Ranger and i love the thing. Ive always been a Holden man (my previous car was a VF SSV wagon) but i have loved the Ranger ever since the PXII was launched and decided to ignore my brand prejudice and got one last year. I wish it had the performance of a V8, but i am loving the fuel economy and its a much more sensible car for my lifestyle compared to the SS.
Speaking of cars... what happened to Bugatti? His account seems to be deleted.
Bill's taking a break from the forum, I didn't ask him why
