The company I work for has been hit hard by COVID-19 so they are cutting the work force they put out expressions of interest for voluntary redundancies. I turned 62 in august and put my hand up and was successful so after 33.5 years it comes to an end on the 25th of November.
I am really happy with my decision it will give me more time to fish,camp and 4wd I am grinning from ear to ear. I am stood down this month only 12 days of shift work left when I go back.
