It's just one of hundreds of scams on Facebook now days Russell.. it's best not to apply to any of them, I found that out the hard way quite some time ago. Much the same as emails, as Paul Anderson stated, thankfully my virus/scam setup stops them as soon as they arrive.

They won't do anything because it's probably a paid advertisment. If they stop it .. it stops their revenue :) Scammers will pay to advertise their messages if the sites have a large audience. It's a numbers game. Most will ignore, bust it only takes a few gullible people for them to make money :)

rb85 I am no authority on "dubious" sites but in one country where I worked the local staff would get on your computer if you had not logged off/had a secure password and access such sites. The next morning when you logged on all sorts of pop-ups would appear and removing them was a major problem!
