Hunches, dreams, unexplainable urges to go fishing. That's a symptom of Jewie Fever. :)

... Symptoms may include avoidance of human contact, over reaction to the sound of bells and an obsession with live or fresh fish, particularly mullet. Symptoms may peak at certain moon phases however research is inconclusive on this.

Patterson lakes ATM and the past month has produced jewies, quite a few as well. My biggest has been just over 2.4kg. Good fish but all on squid and lil mullet

Further signs of Jewie fever.....

Sufferers are predisposed to nocturnal activities, preferring areas close to calm water at night. They should only be approached with great caution at these times as any loud noises or bright lights (particularly if shone over water) may provoke or agitate them. Due to the extensive time spent at these locations, they may endure long sessions without answering the call of nature. Although evasive when questioned and secretive about their activities, sufferers of "Jewie Fever" can readily be distinguished from sufferers of the more common strain of "Fishing Fever" by the battery operated live bait buckets that they regularly have with them.
