If you want to catch a Mulloway bud, as a lot of people have said already you need to spend a LOT of your spare time.
Best time for mulloway (from personal experience) is night time (11PM-4AM) only on a either rapidly rising or falling barometer, in the rain and 20-30kph south-westerly wind.
My best bait is freshly caught whole luderick on ganged hooks.
I have done a lot of hard yards for this and even in the recommended conditions it’s still very tricky. Most of the time people catch mulloway it is pure luck.
Good luck though!
(Proof this works is in the provided pic!)

Re: Need mulloway tip.
I never recorded it, I put the monster back although I reckon it somewhere in the 1 metre range maybe longer. I don’t consider it to be my biggest fish since I didn’t take it home with me, mainly because I forgot my esky and it wouldn’t have tasted as nice if I didn’t preserve it.
