For sale: Stealth Fisha 500

Post by 4liters » Tue Oct 15, 2019 5:25 pm

Price: $2,400

It's time to move on my first foray into glass fishing kayaks, it's been an excellent kayak but it's time for an upgrade.

There are a great kayak for fishing offshore. It's quick and I've found it extremely stable in rough conditions. It covers distance nicely, I've taken it out of sight of land on several occasions chasing pelagics unicorns. The fish hatch fits 4 fully rigged rods inside which keeps everything dry during surf launches/landings.

The Berkley Quick Set rod holders are easy to get a rod out of when there's something heavy on the other end of the line, and having them up front means you can keep an eye on the rod tips while you're trolling to check you haven't got weed on the line. The rear pointing Railblaza rod holder was included as somewhere to put a rod while re-rigging or unhooking a fish.

The main extras are the Lowrance Hook 5 fish finder with a Navionics silver card and a set of rod holders that Cheater made which are pretty handy for both drifting or trolling. It's recently had a bit of a service at Seasherpa including a new rudder and paddle keep mat.

Full details are as follows:

I think there's a few marks, a few spots I've found a good patch of fish, Torquay FADs and a bunch from that ex charter fisho that gave away all his. No outrageously productive secret spots though.

If I hadn't just bought a kayak literally last week I would have considered this, I love stealth kayaks and would love to have one. A youtuber I watch (rokkit kit) has a profisha and it looks awesome.
Good luck with the sale.
